anyone got step by step how to take a JDM headlight apart?
well I just bought some OEM HIDs, and I was wondering how do I take it apart my headlights, So I could install the HID LENS. Mine is non-hid, so I have to replace the lens. I was wondering if anyone know step by step to not **** my **** up or has a site that tells me what to do.
Thanx

your post is kinda vague. i'm guessing u have a jdm type-r front end non-hid? and u want to put oem hid's into that?
if so then just do it like how i did to my ek4 headlights.
1) preheat oven to 415 degrees
2) put in oven for [B]NO[B] more then 5 minutes
3) pull out in use a big flat head screw driver n pry them apart
4) replace
5) put back in oven same temp for same time
6) push back togthere
7) use some silicone n mask up the parts that have gaps
8) all done

The above post will help for getting the lights apart and back together.
*edit* don't forget to pull everything off the outside of the headlight before putting it in the oven, like the little metal clips around the 2 halves, the drain tubes, etc.
Which OEM projectors did you get? Most likely the process is going to involve cutting the projector portion off of the bracket inside the headlight, which leaves you with a big hole in the bracket, and then you attach the new projector (all one unit containing the parabolic reflector, bulb holder, shield, lens, etc.). Definitely post pics of the process because I've never seen the inside of a J-spec 3rd gen headlight.

well I wanna get this down 4 sure, because I dont want my headlights to ******* go BOOM and dont work anymore. These headlight cost money and that some **** i dont have. It just comes and goes. If I could get some help from someone who has done this with the NON-HID JDM black housing headlight, hook me up. I need the help. Plus I got the retrofit oem HID.

I haven't really seen anybody take apart J-spec headlights. You might just have to forge ahead and be the pioneer.
It's really not that hard, as far as taking the headlight apart it will come apart like any other headlight. Just do a search for baking headlights or taking apart headlights or whatever. Take them apart, take pics and post them and some of us can probably help you out.

Those are my HID headlights. Send me the money or my lights and this will all go away. At this point you have the money and the lights which makes you a scammer. Answer my PM's. I'm losing patience.
