Which paint to use on my headlights, CTR style. (searched already)
I have searched some and will do some more but I'm not sure which to use. I have read a lot of people saying to use Duplicolor Graphite (gunmetal) so after much hunting this morning I found a store with Duplicolor but they had a Graphite Wheel paint and Gunmetal trim paint. Has anyone used either of them or have recomendation. The Wheel paint says it has high gloss but is heat resistant so I'm not sure how they will look but Graphite is what everyone recomends.
Thanks in advance.

You wouldn't happen to have pics would ya? Really curious how they look on an EBP SI. Headlights are goin in the oven in a few and still undecided.

LOLZZz I didn't even notice that.
BTW I used that Duplicolor Gunmetal *The taller can from the pic* and the color came out different than the color of the cap. More silverish than gunmetalic. This is the only pic I have. Hope it helps.

Thanks guys, I just got the first headlight opened up and the second is in the oven. Still not sure on color. I might use the wheel paint since it seems that it is the darker of the two. Also looking at the amber reflector, has anyone tried painting the back of it black so it is darker?
Man, they all look good and hard to tell from the pics anyways cause the color can vary so much. At any rate, second headlight is open now. Going to scuff and primer real quick. I think I will just start with the gunmetal and if it starts to look too light for my liking I'll add some of the graphite. I think I might go grab my fog bezels and spray them the same so they all match. And of course I am taking pics for everyone for when I'm done.
Update:
First light coat of gunmetal is on, it does look more like silver but it is a light coat. Going to put another on shortly to see if it darkens some. If not may go to the graphite.

Well, I did 2 coats of the gunmetal and figured I would give the graphite a try. Graphite is a notch or two darker but still far from black. It is about the exact color I wanted. I think they look perfect. Got them on the kitchen table drying. Trying to keep the kids away from them, running out of daylight and starting to cloud up. Will post pics when done.
