Well since I can't find out the ITR # of my '98 I can't use that on my tag when I get the title etc taken care of on Tuesday. Can some of you guys give me some ideas to think over for a personalized NC license plate for a stock '98 R. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated...
BTW where I work we have a really good relationship with an Acura dealership so I am going to get them to try and find out what # my R is... May take a while but we shall see.. I will keep everyone up to date on my quest with them....
Also does anyone on here have one of the ITR rear trunk bars for sale. This is the one that runs between the tailights on the rear tail panel inside the passenger area. I think acura calls it the "Rear Performance Rod"....I need one

I'd suggest not getting any kind of license plate that makes your car more recognisable to thieves. It's much easier to remember something like KILR ITR than a random set of letters and numbers.

North Carolina plates can have 8 characters on them.

. I am not a big fan of personalized license plates. Its just something to get yourself noticed more when you dont need it, plus something like 98TYPER is going to be much easier for a thief to remember then something like FHM-6514. Its your ride though, do what you want!!!

The bad thing about NC is that there are letter/number combinations that you can't get, because they are reserved for various government agencies. For example, I couldn't have gotten ITR009 because you can't have three letters and three numbers in a row (old NC plates, and current state Highway Patrol plates).
