proper procedure for bleeding GSR brakes?
I got a GSR, it has ABS.....I remember that you need to do something different to bleed a car with ABS, but i dont know what...I havent bled a car with ABS in like 3 years and completely forgot, does anyone have the correct procedure?
I haven't bled the brakes on my teg, but I bled plenty of brakes on other abs equiped cars, and didn't do it any differently than I would a regular brake bleeding session.
does the manual specify any special instructions?

You can do it the normal way.
I am really lazy so I use a shortcut... I got a check valve at the fish store and put it inline on a vacuum hose. Then I stuck the vacuum hose over the bleeder valve screw and loosened the screw. The I just pumped the brakes over and over (and kept refilling with fluid) until all the air was gone. Works like a charm, and you can do it with only one person!

I yi yi...
Someone pumps the brake 3 times and holds it down...then you loosen the bleeder valve ...1/4 turn or so until it bleeds smooth with no air.
Only thing I can't remember is what side to start off with first. I believe you start in the rear - Left then right side. Then the fronts - left right.
Hope this helps.

Get a MityVac - a handheld vacuum pump that lets you bleed your brakes, or other hydro system. Takes one person. Easy. Quick.
Has other uses too - works as a pump and measures vacuum.
