1st Accident for me..........
Hey guys............ I just got into my first accident at 19, and it was my fault. It was raining around 2am and I was driving home from the movies and I didn't yield for left turn and the person I hit had the right of going straight. I was confused because my light was green and his was also and the lights worked different late at night so there was no turning light. My hood is okay it would seem. My left headlight is fogging up because it's been cracked slightly, my itr lip was fine so I took it off, just scuffed up. My bumper is gone and my right left fender is also gone. My left corner light is also busted. Does it look really bad like frame damage of any sort b/c b/t he fender and the hood, there's a bigger space now? The damage done to the other car was like bent left side passenger and driver doors with some scraping to the sideskirts I think. I just feel really bad and stupid right now and I'm dissappointed in myself. I've been saving money really tightly for a b16 tranny and etc. and now it's all gone. My 98+ itr front is gone as well. I have to pay it off and probably with student loans. It's my first car so I'm really hurt seeing my car like this. Well here's the pictures............
BTW if anyone has any of these parts for sale at a decent price, especially a left fender (I'm going to put old front back on for now), I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for listening to my ranting.

Thats sucks about your car. But it doesn't look like frame damage. It just looks like the bumper's alignment is screwed. What would help is if you take picture under the hood around that area. Good luck on fixing it up.
doesn't look too bad. do you have insurance? usually when people have front fender damage, they go the jdm conversion route.
if insurance is not covering that, your best bet is to find someone selling their front end(classifieds?) and fix it yourself. and don't worry about painting it for now.

yeah im going to buy some fenders, slap them on and slap my old 94 front end on. I don't want insurance in on this because I'm 19with a clean record and my insurance just dropped dramatically after going to college. I also only have liability which sucks. I'm just hoping the guy doesn't screw me over on how much I owe him. Hopefully I can get him a rental car while I take his car to a shop without saying anything about insurance money and etc. b/c they'll jack up the price twice as much as it's suppose to be. Right now I'm just looking at the $750 I did save up in my little treasure box from a part time and hating the fact that I busted my butt for nothing.
p.s. selling drugs. lol I thought about it but I can't risk the criminal life.

like i was turning left and he was going straight down the road im turning. of course he's passing on my left so i ran into him driverside first. color is rosewood brown metallic
i dunno man, but trying to work your way around the insurance companies seems real shady and difficult to do, IMHO. if the guy u hit cares about his car, he is more than likely going to make a claim to his insurance company. but thats just my .02.
i dont know man but he was like he likes his insurance to be affordable and etc so he doesn't want his insurance to go up and neither do I. He's a nice guy and he didn't want to screw me over because I was telling him about my clean record and etc. But me and him are going to get some estimates, without insurance claim, and see how we go from there. Here's some pictures after me and my bro bent some fenders and such back to shape so we could slap old front one back on.

man I'm definately missing the old front

man I'm definately missing the old front

be careful with your choices. Some insurance companies have a policy that you have to notify them within 24 hours for any type of accident. That color is cool.
man damage to his car is over 4 grand b/c he says he has a lease with toyota and that toyota has to be the one that decides how they're going to fix their car so they're doing the work. Therefore he claimed my insurance Monday. It wasn't a big collision and nobody got hurt because it wasn't enough to where airbags came out. Hopefully everything's cool. Now I guess I can start all over and buy the bumper for the 98+ conversion again.
I am 19 as well and just got into my first accident 2 days ago. However, it was not my fault some dumb lady backed up onto my car with her Acura MDX and now its at the dealership.... Good luck with your car dude. Let this be a lesson for you on rainy days.
I remember 2 years ago I was driving in my old gen2 teg and did 2 360's in the raind and land up backwards on median facing oncomming traffic, lol from then on until this day I drive like a grandma in the rain.

thanks for the nice and uplifting comments guys. I was hard on myself at first but now I've come to a point where I realize that it wasn't too bad because at least my car's not totaled. I would have been screwed with liability and left with my feet. So it really could have been a lot worst.
IntegNYC: yeah my divorced single mom paid for most of it so I'm grateful for having such a mother and so this car has alot of sentimental value to me.

The same accident happened to me on Sunday but I was the driver coming straight. I totalled my beater a Plymouth Voyager. It was the other guy's fault becuz he didnt yield so they want to settle.
honestly, your car was in good shape before the accident. changing trannys wouldnt have made it that much better. At least you have cash to do the repair job. Honestly, integras are good for the money when youre starting out. If they are a toy car, cool. but they arent really the end all of cars and it doesnt seem like youre in a position to really be making all these mods if youre struggling to pay for a bumper and a few odds and ends.
My teg is driven when the weather is nice but i have 3 other cars. just get your stuff fixed, even if it takes a bit longer and just be glad you have something reliable. besides, the more the car stands out, the more you have to worry about it being stolen.
take my advice for what its worth but its always a shame to see an out of production car get into an accident.
good luck on the repairs.
