are 2003 nissan spec v's faster than the 2003 rsx type s's??? which is faster stock for stock and do you have proof...iam trying to see if iam right or my friend is right

I beat all the Spec-v's that i raced. I think I raced like 3. They can not keep up with the Type-s.

 

The Spec-V is not as fast as the RSX-S,
I can hang with one in my gutted SOHC swapped CX.

 

Spec V's have more torque, but the S will beat it......

 

No Proof needed...Spec V's are a bit slower than RSX-S's

 

considering the type-s costs 6 GRAND MORE, of course you get a better/faster car. SI/base RSX is more comparable to a spec-v. a 145whp 17k sentra or a 170whp 23k acura? which one do you think will be better/faster? i dont know why you even asked this.

BUT, SER's arent as bad as everyone makes them out to be. I ran 15.3 bone stock in mine, but rsx's are slighly (yea slightly) faster in stock form. its a pretty even race untill about 60-70 where the SER's torque advantage is gone and the RSX's ivtec is used to its advantage.

 

stay away from the spec v.. stick with the honda..

 

i didnt say i wanted a spec v or an rsx haha iam 18 and cant afford that balla lifestyle i have an 91 ef9 that iam building at the moment iam more into the older cars anyway but my firend has a spec v and he is allways saying he would kill an rsx type s and that all the peopl on his board allways say spec v's are faster than rsx's but i dunno i wanna get him to the track and race one

I have a timeslip in which I raced a yellow SpecV at IRP awhile ago both cars were comepletley stock... (additional info: this was my absolute 1st pass in my RSX-S, I eventually squeezed a 14.87 out of it 100% stock. SpecV- he was a good driver as well, and eventually squeezed a 15.6X out of it.)

Your "friend" is blowing smoke out of his ***. He can not kill a Type-S.

 

yeah i have a gsr and i have beaten my share of spec v's, and my friends type s can beat me (although not for long ) so i know for a fact that a type s would beat a spec v with no problem, this is all considering they have the same things done to the engine of course.

 

My friend who owns a Spec V and swears to have beaten a stock Type S, though I don't believe he was stock at the time(just bolt-ons).

 

I am the one with the specV that 91sihatchback is talking about. He is full of ****. I never said I can kill an RSX-s. I have a video of a spec v just like mine taking an RSX-S up to about 70 then the RSX starts to pull on it. I know for a fact that i killed an H22 prelude just the other day with it....and I had 2 200+ pound guys in the car with me. I had a 89 Maxima before the spec v and i smoked a modded eg with it. All you guys that rag on anything that is not a honda need to realize that honda isnt the best thing ever. I have respect for everything....I plan on building a CRX with a B20VTEC turbocharged for a project car once I get some money saved up. It is stupid to be so ignorant that you think only ONE thing is good. That is all....

Sorry but I don't believe your story about beating an H22 when you had 400 extra pounds unless the prelude driver sucked really bad, or he was just playing.

What the hell are you talkin about. No one said a Honda is better then the Nissan. What I said was I have yet to see a spec-v beat my type-s. I drive an Acura. I do not drive a damn Skyline.
As for u beatin the Prelude it could be poss if he had an automatic
