Default Which Exhaust Sounds The Best For A GSR???

I'm gonna buy exhaust for my 97 GSR and I was just wondering which exhaust sounds the best? Also does anyone know of a site that has exhaust sounds posted on it? Thanks

That is a matter of opinion. Use the search feature located in the upper right of your screen.

I'm thinking of doing a very similar setup as you have (cat-back/header) but with a high flow cat.
Could you describe your exhaust sound? is it very loud or not too much louder than stock... also does it hit really high notes even with daily city driving?
thx

So you're getting an exhaust just for the sound?

Then get an N1 style exhaust, cuz I'm sure you'd like that sound.

Werd.

I'm a fan of the Fujitsubo RM-01A exhaust, definitely a muffled performance note. I don't care much for the N1 & Fireball, too buzzy and loud.

Just dont get a straigh t2.5" pipe with no cat and a single N1 muffler like me! TOO LOUD!! Id get a resonator but im going 3" to a 3" Fireball or Blitz muffler soon for the boost.

Fujitsubo RM01A. I had it on my Teg and I loved it. It's gone now though.

I found Tanabe Super Racing Medallion for 399 Brand New. Has anyone seen anything cheaper? Is it a good exhaust?

That's fairly resonable. It will be pretty loud and raspy though.

Hyper Medalion, quiet exhaust, but deep when you get on it and a straight through design. I had a greddy Evo, sounded good but to loud.

Good Price. I'm sittin on a high flow cat with Tanabe super waiting to install on my 2000 LS. I'll let u know how it sounds once its installed. But yeah, I heard its pretty damn loud. But we'll see, I'll try and record a sound clip

all the exhaust listed will hardly increase ur power but if ur looking for sound only then might as well get one!

apex'i WS very quiet daily driven, just makes the engine louder with no gay raspy sounds

i had the greddy evo, that was pretty nice.

ive heard the tanabe super medallion is very very nice as well (from a clip of a white teg on a dyno, it sounds amazing)

apex n1 cover your ears. pleaaaaase don't get it.

and for those of you looking for power, on a stock gsr, an exhaust isn't going to give you more than 1 whp, not even noticable. unless youve got FI or a fully built motor, there really is no point in getting an exhaust other than for the sound.
