Someone is interested in buying my 95 GSR's B18C1 engine and tranny? I spun a bearing this past summer.
How much should I ask for it? What's a good price?

It depends upon how stupid the interested party is. If they're stupid you may be able to get well over $2000 for them, but someone well educated wouldn't pay more than about $1500.

 

1500$ for a used GSR tranny? Is that right because here, a brand new Type-R tranny (w/ LSD i'm assuming?) is 1800$. What that price, I might as sell my tranny, pitch in a few $$$ and get a brand new type-R tranny with LSD.

Yup, engine and tranny.
Yeah the lowest i have heard is $1500 US.
I don't want to screw anyone though because it isn't a runing engine...

a b16a 2nd gen is about 1500
so put it between that range...

ls ($800)

gsr($2500-3000
itr $4000-5000
