LS has - Sunroof, power everything, NO leather Standard, ABS

RS - NO Sunroof, non-power windows, locks (i think), No leather, NO ABS

same exact motor and tranny.

think thats it.

i have a RS with p-windows p-locks, but no sunroof, no leather, no abs

Does the RS come in automatic at all, or is it only the LS?

I doubt that the RS is event meausrably faster. Woudl not having those power options give you that much of a weight savings? Should be able to get Auto in anything except a Type R

depends on what year youre talkin about...98+ the only real differences are cosmetics...no sunroof, black modings and mirrors, low buck stereo, diff wheels, if you ask me, if your gonna swap the motor out, buy the rs, and drop in a new motor, itll be lighter...slightly...but i dont even remember if they made an rs past 98...i forget...

I thought they dropped the RS around 98 or even sooner?

I know they dropped the SE in 1996 I believe and went to the LS/GS/GSR/R line up

The difference in weight between the RS and LS is:
114LBS, the RS weighs less

I have a '98 Integra RS
I have p-windows, no p-door locks, no sunroof, stock CD deck

Well, i've beaten LS/GS/SE Integra's.....

Hmm but can 114 pounds really translate to that much diffference in speed? Then wouldn't an RS have a good chance off the line with a GSR? More torque and less weight, and if 114 pounds is alot then all the other stuff on a GSR must "bog" it down? Seems hard to believe that it could make that much of a difference. But I still could be wrong, I'm open to that. *Shrugs*

OK, the problem is that I thought I had an LS, but now I'm not sure anymore. It's an auto, p. windows, but NOT p. locks, not leather, originally came with hubcaps. And it's a 95, btw... can anyone tell me for sure what it is? I checked the manual, but it's a general manual for ls/rs/gs... so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

the best giveaway would be the moonroof, also if your mirrors were black that would help to tell if its an rs too...

If you don't have a sliding sunroof, you have an RS.

Heres the REAL way to tell.

Type R= driver has a big smile on his face (I own all other integras)
GSR = driver has a smile on face (I have VTEC, and I know it)
GS= driver has a smirk (I have leahter and a wing! hehe)
LS=driver has a face like (did they forget to put the VTEC in there?)
RS= driver has a pissed off face. When he has to roll up with window manually

Well, I don't have VTEC for sure.

Ok, I have no sunroof. The mirrors are black. No power door locks, but power windows, no cruise, no leather, hubcaps , 14" tires (4 of them )... so I'm guessing RS?

But you forgot
Turbo Teg= driver has a problem in his paints (owns 70% of the cars on the road, atleast)

You have an RS. The Gen 3 LSes all came with body matched mirrors and the sun/moonroof. All LSs came with power locks and cruise control. 95 LSes came with hubcaps though.

last rs's were in 98 , the rs's have non painted side moulding and side mirros, they did have a cd player and no power sunroof. They also came with A/C and with 14" wheels and wheel covers (14" rims were a option). Power window was aslo stock and a spoiler was also a option! there was no cruise control, no power locks, no leather... this is the base model integra.. so no vtec.
btw this RS owen never was pissed a his dicision and or lack of vtec..
It's amazing what a few bolts ons will do..and a turbo!
I bought my car brand new and still have the brochure..
