Clifford Alarm problem - need help!!
This is on my 99 Tacoma, not my integra, but it shouldn't matter I don't think..
Basically, the truck was at a stealership to fix a parking brake problem. Over the course of this, I've had some customer service issues, but they finally got the brake fixed yesterday.
So I pick up my truck last night and when I go out to it, the alarm won't engage or disengage. So I use the key, get in, try to start it, and the battery is dead. The service department is closed at this point, so I get someone else to jump it and drive it home. At this point the alarm will still not do anything and the LED light seems to be fine.
Well, I say screw it and leave it alone for the night last night. Drove it once to get some mixers, and it started fine. Today, I get up and the car won't start again. And the alarm still won't work.
Here's my problems:
1) I don't know what model clifford alarm it is, it was in my truck when I bought it used. I do know that the transmitter is one of the bigger ones, and the one I use has a woodgrain finish. There's one big button, and 3 smaller buttons(forming a diamond shape) on the face of it. On the right side, it also has a tiny button. There is also a valet switch inside, one position it stays, the other positon is neutral, the 3rd position is springloaded.
2) I don't know how to reenable the alarm/keyless entry. What could they have done to screw it up?
3) Could valet mode or something be draining my battery? Or is it more likely that they deep cycled it and now it won't keep a charge?
ANY help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

update..
just jump started the truck and let it run for awhile trying to charge up the battery. turned it off, tried to start it again and the battery is definitely toast.
here's an additional question from my original post. If I go ahead and replace the battery, not knowing how it got drained in the first place, can i just leave the fuses out of the alarm wires and just not have the alarm/remote entry active until i get that to someone who can work on it?

This depends on how the alarm is wired.
You will probably be safe doing that.
Unless it has a back-up battery, and is setup to activate when the battery is disconnected. (But it doesn't sound that it is setup this way.
You are probably still in valet mode, or maybe the stealership has already taken the liberty f removing a fuse for you to disconnect the alarm. . .

I have the same exact problem with my clifford alarm,
I heard that you might have pressed a certain code to
disable the alarm, and you need to put in the right code
to enable it again, I got my car with the alarm too, so I dont
know how to fix it either, tell me how you fixed your alarm

By the sounds of your remote description. You have a Clifford G4 Alarm. The only one that I know of that came with the wood grain finish in the box was the Advantguard 4, which was their flagship alarm. I would personally unplug the fuses and put the put the battery on a charger overnight and see if it hold the charge. If not get it going and run to your nearest clifford dealer to get it fixed.
