Picking up my 30th Anniversary Type R Civic this week
Wuz up peeps? I got approved for a 2003 Civic Type R 30th Anniversary Edition and will be picking it up this coming week. Now the next question is when I move back to the states, how will I bring it back? Race? or Show? How do I post pics on Honda-Tech also? Help me out Please!

where are you at right now? If you're picking up a cr from an overseas dealer, good luck bringing it back to the states. I was looking at picking up a Peugeot 306 while I was here and take that back to the states with me. Not worth all the BS you have to go through to egt it legalized. If not the amount of $$$$ it costs, the damn paperwork sure as hell is enough to make you change your mind.

i tried to legalized a 98' Type-R and to tell you the truth...it ******* sucks man...the car only costed me $6000.00 USD but all that legalization **** is and extra $5-$10k. yea...$5-$10k....that's way to much for me....plus shipping sucks...so..i'm sticking with my hatch now..

Are you involved in the military? I heard it is a little bit easier to legalize a car if your in the military...dont quote me though. Good luck and have fun with it while you are over there in case you cant bring it back!

Your info shows Leesburg, VA - where are you at now? and how much did the 30th Anniv. CTR cost?

Thanks for all of the compliments on the CRX. It is still in the works. Have a newborn son now so money is a bit tighter than before. I am from Leesburg Va, and currently live in Kaiserslautern Germany. I am picking up the CTR for 17,000 euro, its got 9000km on it and is first hand. I hope to be back in Va. in a year or 2 and plan on opening a shop in Winchester or Martinsburg WV. If things work out as planned. I will try and post some pics of the CTR before the weekend as soon as I pick it up. Have some more paperwork to fill out and then insurance and tags to do. Stay in touch. I will also update the Sounddomain site with the REX when I have some time.
