Thanks guys, I miss that car sometimes. Thats actually a scan, the orginal photo is really clear. My friend Eva took that pic waaaay back in the day.

At that time, it was wearing Jacobs motorsports JM6's, which I belive were actually Rota N1R's. Me and Opi's had a friend with a small wheel/tire distribution and we helped him push his name, he hooked us up with the wheels.

 

Rodrez for Prez! That car was so dope! I had one...but just some skunkworks coilovers, ZC, Greddy ****, Momo Wheel, and some 96 GSRs. Lookin for pics now

Thanks man. YOu know I haven't seen those in years. Under the Jacobs motorsports JM6 banner, they sold really well, alot of people liked those back in the day.
From what I hear, the kid that bought the car from me crashed it a little while back, oh well, fun while it lasted.

 

Do I see painted-ish tail lights? What did you do to them other than the smoked reverses? Looks mega hotness.

 

haha, the ol' 1994 trick of painting over the orange turn signals with red transparent paint so they're all red. The back up lights are just stock, they're a little dark cause of the scanner.

 

Do you gots a pic of it up close? Wouldn't just painting on the outside of it look a little wierd?

Only the corner was sprayed to get rid of the orange, pic is a little messed up cause it's scanned, it matched really well.

 

i think this is like 1 of 2 cleanist CRX i have ever seen

Wow the paint on the tail light looks real good can I ask what you used? You just sprayed over the amber?

 

I believe it was Testors transparent candy apple red model paint. Cleaned off the surface, taped it off, and sprayed a few layers carefully and evenly, then clearcoated, it lasted for about 3 years, when I sold the car, it started to fade a bit, needed to be redone, but I didn't get around to it for the new owner.
