I have been looking into getting an RSX-S... anyone have any thoughts about the interior design, I have really never been in one but I know they look sweet. I am concerned with this because that is where a driver will spend most of his time... any cool features or flaws about the interior?

 

The RSX interior is awesome, the seats feel like leather Recaro's and at night the gauge cluster glows red...pretty comfortable even when suspension goes aftermarket...

 

I just bought an 04 RSX a month ago, loving every second of it. I went with desert silver/ tan leather interior. also I test drove many other cars, I am only about 5'10 and some cars my head was hitting the roof, the RSX has a large interior including more back seat space than others I looked at. Once I get some more spare money, I'm planning on some mods - and definitely looking through as much of honda-tech and clubrsx as i can to find get the best suggestions possible. this is my first new car and want to make sure I do things right, also I was very pleased with my dealer, will be dealing with him and acura in the future (as long as they keep making great cars )

 

I went with DSM. Tan is o.k, but if u r going to get JDM parts interior, go with the black interior.

 

Man I love my RSX-S interior.....

Satin Silver on Ebony leather with 18% tint...Its bad and classy at the same time....Best part is the Crimson guage lights match my Valentine-1 perfectly. I love it....the only thing I wish it had was rear grab handles to hang a rod on b/c picking up your dry cleaning is a pain with one little hook behind the drivers seat, but hell thats it.

I guess I could remove the back seats and install the Mr.Alex c-pillar bar...That would hold some clothes wouldn't it.

I got the RSX for the interior, and after driving it then i fell in love with the car.....The interior is comfortable for the driver even on long trips, controls are easy to use and an easy reach, no need to fumble playing around with the heater controls, radio, or even the cup holders ( lots of cup holders, more than there is seats). Classy style, roomy. My only disappoinments is the materials used, cheap hard plastic for all the interior panels, (the dash isn't even vinyl wrapped) also another reason why the panels rattle. Cheap leather in the type S, no grab handles for any passenger even for the passenger side, noisy interior( lots of road noise). and the rear seat passengers avg heights hit their head on the rear pillar by the hatch. Other than that I like the interior very much

 

is there any way to get black interior on white or red??? Or do u guys know a place where i can get all black interior?

 

Canada is the only place for black interior with white exterior.

 

Black on black interior ( the best)...and yeah, theres a lil' bit of road noise, but thats alright if your into the good handling and power. As far as black interior on a red or white exterior- I havent seen one, but they might be out there. The best thing of all is the smooth clutch and shifting.

 

well see if i had a black DC5 imo i would get black on red

 

the seats could hug a lil' more imo....

 

the arctic blue pearl has black interior right?.. does the nighthawk black come with black interior or gray interior? i thought the blue one has BLACK interior and the black one had GRAY interior. please correct me if im wrong.

 

all these interior combo ideas could be easily answered on acura's website. No need for dumb questions just because u dont want ot check out their website and read a little...

I would really like an "Oh ****" bar, b/c my friend keeps complaining there isn't one when he rides in my car. Ebony is great when going for JDM parts as special ed said.

 

Lack of armrest bothers some ppl at first. Cup holders' are nice and deep. Hatch is pretty useful, haven't had any rear seat passengers yet, so I dunno.

The high beams push FORWARD to engage, which I don't care for, I prefer my 99 civic's (and most other car's I've driven) method of activation.

Hazard button is alittle further away than I would have liked it.

CANNOT TURN ON FRONT DEFROSTER W/O A/C which kinda irritates me. (I'm a control freak)

Steering wheel is ******* sweet.

actually you can, you just have to re-program it...i forgot how but you should be able to find it on clubrsx.com

 

You can shut off the AC with def on by doing this...

1. Set fan & temp all the way left, as well as direction, stopping right before AUTO
2. Press and hold AC and Recirculation (not rear def!) for 10 seconds
3. Turn key to ON WITHOUT turning on car, while holding AC and Rec.
4. Recirc will blink, AC will light up. Let go and turn back key, then enjoy def w/o AC.

BTW, am I the only one that thinks the OEM RSX-S seats are absolutely horrible? I really really hate them, I dont think they're comfortable at all and they suck *** at keeping you in place...IMO.

 

hmm can someone show me 2 pictures, 1 of eternal blue and 1 of arctic blue pearl, i wanna see the difference? i heard the arctic blue pearl only comes in type s right? and the eternal blue comes in base only? correct me if im wrong plz. ty

ooh nice.. hey did that re-prog defrost thing work? just wondering.. hmm i really don't see much difference from the eternal blue to the arctic blue.. but i've heard that arctic only comes in rsx-s and eternal comes in base, is that right? correct me if im wrong pls, ty.
