Use the search function and do some research, there is more debate about cams on this site then you could ever hope to read.

Nah, i was told that they are about or are the same crap. Except I think the B16 cams have a little more duration than the GSR cams. Get some CTR or 00-01 ITR cams.

The USDM GSR cams have the same exact lift and duration as b16a cams. Here is proof.

I know you keep saying that, but they have the same specs so the GSR cams shouldn't make any difference in power.

And the b16a does make power past 7600, peak HP is at 7600 but it still makes power.

You just proved my point they have the same specs:

b16a - intake lift 10.6 - 230 duration
exhaust 9.4 227 duration

gsr - intake 10.6 230 duration
exhaust 9.4 - 227 duration

i agree that there is a minimal and not noticeable difference, but there is a difference....

The specs on what you posted are for JDM b16 second gen (170 HP) cams. The first get b16 (160 HP) cams are less aggressive.

intake lift 10.5 duration 230
exhaust 9.8 duration 227

Either way there is no difference between USDM GSR cams and first gen b16 cams.

mmm...NO there is a difference between 1st gen cams and gsr cams....
You sayd it yourself.....if 2nd gen cams are almost the same as gsr and 1st gen are weaker; how can gsr cams be the same as 1st gen b16??

Anyways, they are not the same, i measured them and helms says they are not too...

I never said second gen cams are almost the same as GSR cams.

I was just going by what I read in the link I provided, if you measured them yourself than I'm sure you got it right.

Do you have specs on the GSR cams so everyone can see what the difference is between the GSR cams and the first gen b16 cams?

Well, what i do know that it is worth to swap gsr cams in a b16 if you have 1st gen cams in there. They do make a difference, didn't dyno, but they gave about 1/1.5 more miles at the end of the 1/4
