Default Question about drag3 kit in my ls/vtec hatch..

Ok i have a somewhat slightly modded lil higher compression ls/vtec. Skunk2 manifold, ctr cams,TB,hondata gasket.jdm p30 pistons w/ a b16 head.. According to most compression calculators the compression is somewhere around 11.4:1. You think i can still put on this turbokit for dailydriving and little punches with just throwing alot of fuel and high octane gas and retard the timing and maybe the cams? It also has the vortech fmu and some rc 440 injectors. I also have a vafc and coverted to obd1... Thanx in advance

Simply put, NO!

Get some sort of engine mgmt. and it **might** be possibile. I would try to find some lower comp. pistons.

any1 else, i was just thinking of putting in a 1mm headgasket to drop the compression 1 point to about 10.5:1

ya, you might be able to do it. althow i would'nt try. i would however sugjest a rather large i/c, conservitive timing, and prob no more than 6 psi. let us know what hapens. i would however sugjest doing the headgasket thing you said.

Yeah, you can do that. But send me the $100 you owe me first.

that motor is not set up for a drag kit.even at stock boost. your going to run into problems.

my advice..save for a piston/rod set up or buy a stock block and sell yours.that wil be alot more benificial to you
