Anyways, I need some axles pretty bad here and so I ordered some from Raxles.com... They're supposed to be pretty good quality, but even that doesn't touch how graet the customer service is. Anyway here it is.

My setup right now is NA, but I'm definatley (not maybe) getting a turbo kit this may, so I'm just doing little things here and there to get it ready. I asked what they were rated at and Marty said that rating an axle is pretty much BS. There are a lot of fators he said, like what size rim is being used to the type of tire. Ride height is also important he said. So anyways he said that with that turbo kit on and with some 15's with some grippy tires these axles will hold up. He made a lot of sense so I went with him and his product.

Also, I'm one of those guys that the Greddy Kit is perfect for, I wanna be fast but not like12's fast.

Where did you order these from strait from raxle.com ?
When I talked to them on the phone they were kinda pushing for the $225 an axle setup...

What information do you have concerning application/pricing ?

Thanks,
John

Give em a call, Mardi is a good guy, and will answer all questions you have. I got mine straight from them. He asked what I had, and hooked me up.

The Warranty covers any mechanical faliures that are due to poor craftmanship. Also, what I thought was really cool was, in my case im really unsure as to what mid shaft im running, he said if it didn't fit they would just swap it. I just put the warany away actually and I can't remember wxatly what was on it. I'll let you know how they feel when they are put on. Maybe next weekend.

sadly but if you are running n/a you could have kept your hard earned $$. if you go boost and push over 300 or add slicks @ all, you will prolly need them. Good luck.

oh and mtber, I'm assuming with different applications come different prices, but you can go to http://www.raxle.com/ and go to the contact page. Call him up again, he I don't think he wouldt mind telling you everything you need to know. the number is 888-257-8192.

The waranty is as follows:
"STANDARD LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

RAXLES warrants to the buyer of any axle that it is free from any defects in workmanship and material for ever, subject to the following conditions: a) The product is properly installed, used and maintained. b) Determination as to the existence and nature of any defect in workmanship or product shall be made by RAXLES, and all such determination shall be final. c) If the unit has been disassembled or modified in any way by any other party other than RAXLES, the warranty shall be considered null and void. Also not covered under the warranty: 1) Repair or replacement following collision (including collision with curb), racing or commercial use, off-road use, or any comprehensive insurance claim; 2) In the case of FWD axles, excessive damage to components due to torn boots is not covered. Inspection of boots should be part of regular vehicle maintenance. d) Purchaser must have original invoice number and date. e) RAXLES is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages. Also not covered are the labor and materials that may be necessary to remove a defective unit or to install a replacement unit. f) If all of the above terms are met RAXLES will either replace the defective unit free of charge or refund the original purchase price, at our discretion. g) To the extent permitted by law, this warranty shall be in lieu of any other warranty, expressed or implied. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. LIABILITY: Our liability is limited to the value of the unit sold or furnished. If goods are defective we have no other responsibility beyond the value of the defective unit at RAXLES. IMPORTANT NOTICE; Purchase of any product or service furnished by RAXLES shall constitute the buyer's acceptance of RAXLES sales policies and terms."

If you want to read it, there it is straight from the web page.

Hm... Im using a USDM, not JDM and planning to push 8psi-12psi... not going to upgrade my axles and also planning to use some Mickey Thompsons... I've also ran my B16 on nitrous with stock axles... no problems either...

No offense, but I honestly dont think Im going to snap any axles and if I do I guess Im making a visit to Autozone or Kragen...

Hey where are you from again? Where is booney ville? or is that just im from Da BOONIES!?! haha

yeah, my motto is better safe than sorry. plus 350 isn't that much for me. I have a pretty good job that pays for my addiction. I live in a little town in michigan.
Well enough of if its worth it for anyone, for me its worth it. Its better than OEM and thats good of enough reason for me.

They look nice. I'm pretty happy with my stockers. $50 each for rebuilds with a one year no questions asked warranty.

Axles =
Customer Service =

I got a set of their axles and had them in the car for 1000 miles and broke one first trip to the track where I had never broken my OEM Si axles. They did replace it for me free of charge after I shipped the broken one back so they could examine it.

Yeah, when I ordered my axles I ordered a halfshaft with them cause my bearing was broken on my OEM one at the last trip to the track. The halfshaft I got from them with the axles worked great and is still working great on my car with my TCI axles.

well, I guess im not the expert on axle quality, but you're the first person I have heard that has broken them with only 1000 miles on them and on the track. Maybe a lemon, who knows...

I don't think their axles like lowered cars very much. I was running drag radials too. I still have my Raxles as back ups just in case, and don't regret ordering from them.

yeah, he said that a 1 1/2 to 2 inch drop max. but thats cool, i have it lower but thats cause im running my stock wheels (13's) and I have the way that gap looks.

Actually, can anyone tell me what the stock height of my coupe was? This would be able to tell me how much i'm actually dropped. TIA
