Default save or swap?

allright, i'm a student so obviously i'm not exactly wealthy. school did give me a bunch of money though. i already have enough to cover the bills and stuff, but here's the question: would you say to yourself, "i better be smart and save this money?", or would you say "f it, i'm young and i want to play around so i'm going to spend this on a swap."

Im in the same situation. If you arent going to be in debt by doing the swap...then go for it!! EIther that or your cash will be dumped into booze and other pointless **** that goes with college life.

Would you be willing to take out a loan to get a swap? That is essentially what you have done. If it is scholarship money, save it. If it is financial aid (i.e. loans), then either bank it, or send it back. Yes, I said, send it back. It isn't free money, its a loan. No point in borrowing more money than you need, you'll just have to pay it back later.

save the money!! a swap can suck up a lot of money.. be sure you have more then enough to do the swap before you do it.

i say find out how much the swap is going to total up to. once you have double that amount do it. thats what i always try to do on bigger purcheses. cuz you never know when some dumb *** is going to hit your car and run in the middle of the night while your sleeping.

me i have the swap sitting here, but it's not going in for a long long time. i need $$$$$ to build it. it just seems to make more sense build it for performance and reliability now while it's sitting here rather than in the engine bay. a lot of people swap, and then end up ripping it out later on. i'll wait.

Ouch... the truth hurts!

I'd have to agree with "kommon_sense"!
