Prelude wont rev pass 6500 rpm help
Hey guys, I have Turbocharged H22 fully built and using a Haltech E6X for engine manegment. The problem i have is that motor wont rev pass 6500 rpm.It feels like an ignition cut. My ignition setup is Crane cam ignition box Crane Cam 92 coil Crane Cam cap & rotor, Nology wires, and NGK plugs. I need Help If anyone knows what might be the problem please let me know
is the car going into vtec? check the oil, if you dont have enough oil, you wont build enough oil pressure and it'll hit a cut off at about 6,500. if you have enough oil, try hooking up an oil pressure guage at the back of the block and see what kind of pressure your getting....if its low, your oil pump might be dieing (both have happened to me)

Maybe it has something to do with the rev limiter being screwy?..
I know most of the time when i hit it up in my car, i hit the limiter at about 6800 in first, but in second and above i can hit the full 7300.
