Default Type Rx Pedals Vs Mugen Pedals

Has anyone used the Rx Pedals on their R? Do they compare at all to the Mugen pedals in terms of slippage and such? Also if anyone has pics to post of the Rx pedals it would be greatly appreciated.

Are these the Type Rx pedals you are talking about?

You mean like this?

Rock on man!!!

lol - Sorry, I went to a free Bon Jovi concert last night, couldn't resist

I read in a previous post (Willard said this) that the Type Rx pedals are slippery. I would consider the Mugen ones if you want some bling. Or you could do what I did - just go get the $4 pep boys replacement rubber stock pedal covers. Stock = good enough for me...

those are the same pedals as the ones posted above - they just have the little rubber feet inserted to add some traction (not sure where you can get the rubber things). Pretty nice, but not really all that different than OEM (just more bling)...

I don't know about you but I see some differences in the pedals......shape and size is about the same, but the inside is different, esp the gas pedal.......They came stock on the type-Rx integra in 2000 so I'm sure they come with the rubber inserts.

Rx pedals are not bolt-on.

Honda Access pedals are very slippery when wet; I usually have to wrap mine with paper towels when it rains

These are the exact pedals in the s2k and they are not as good as the stock ones I think. I dont like metalic pedals becuase they are slippery when wet. Even the rubber is slippery becuase its a harder type of rubber. And when it wears down it will look pretty weird.

honda access < type rx and mugen

between mugen and type rx it depends on how jdm you are. type rx is ultra rare... Complete pedal assembly swap is required.....

.....I have the mugen pedal's in my itr. They are NICE, but I don't like how the gas pedal attaches.

Also, they don't have a matching dead pedal.

Can anyone recommend a dead pedal to go with the mugen pedal set?

I have the Mugen Pedal set and will have to say in the wet, the stock rubber ones work better.

I have the ITRx pedals.. posted some pics a while back un-installed.. if Black R remembers. They don't have a dead pedal. Finally installed them couple months ago. They're complete pedal/pedal arm replacements. And the only reason WHY I replaced them, was because my clutch pedal was RIPPED OFF my car along with my AUTOLOC. Dash was completely replaced. Looks pretty difficult replacing if my dash was still there. Love the feel of them. Much better than stock. The rubber is kind of hard but the texture is pretty grippy. Plus they look badass and bling-bling s2k stock compared to the Mugens. Get the ITRx's.. Just don't know where you're gonna get em'.. cost me $240... over 2 YEARS ago.

Anyone know if the DC5R's fit ours? They have a nice dead pedal..
