Default OT: What's going to happen to Speedvision series?

Does anyone know what's going to happen to the cars prepped for the Speedvision cup? Since Speedvision has been bought and they say they don't have a budget for the 2002 season, where will all the drivers and cars go?

I think the problem is that NO AMERICAN car can finish podium. It's either BMW or Acura/Honda taking it all. I mean, can you imagine a V6 Mustang competing against a BMW? They wouldn't know how to get enough horsepower out of that crap engine. haha. The Nascar network (Speedvision), probably are getting hate letters 'cuz imports are killing everything on real races.

American cars do well in the GT class. This year it's all about the S4's but in the last few seasons it's been Vipers, Saleen Mustangs and Corvettes.

Also a C5 Vette won 24 hours at Daytona this year, beating about a hundred Porsches, and a Saleen finished on the podium too. In the last few years the Panoz roadster has dominated.

Domestic cars do just fine in "real racing" (I don't know why people think NASCAR isn't real racing either. If you think it's actually that easy, you go out and try driving 200mph in bumper to bumper traffic).

Patrick - I was referring to the "Touring Series" on Speedvision. I apologize for not being clear. Yes, GT class is a whole different story as American's know V8 cars... but anything less than that, they don't know how to tune.
