Will 13" stock Honda rims fit on a 1995 Civic Si with stock brakes? Anyone know. I am going to do ice racing and would like to run my friends studded tires..

I don't know - I have a 93 Si with a front brake swap from a 96 Teg - my stock 14's would not fit - I now have my winter tires mounted on 14 inch steelies from a 99 civic and they clear the teg brakes. - the shape of the steel wheel is different between the two.

I do not think 13's will fit.

 

they are a Honda alloy rim that I am looking to put on.

My brakes are stock SI ones.

13's will not fit.. a few of the 14's will but i had a 88 accord and tried to put them on a 90 teg just for fun but the front's don't fit.. the rears will.

 

grrr. I know 14" GSR rims fit fine. But I need to fit 13" rims.... oh well.

 

Yes they will fit. My friend is running 14" HX wheels on his Si hatch and they will not clear the EX brakes. The Si hatch has the same size front brakes as the DX and LX and has small rear discs as well. The EX's have bigger front brakes than the DX, LX, Si but still retain rear drums. I believe they will fit...if they dont run a spacer.

does this have ANYTHING to do with the man's question???



if you are refering to VX wheels then YES, they WILL fit. ABS was only an option in 94, so that means unless you did a brake swap, you have the same front setup as, yes, a VX. And the Honda 13 inch wheels WILL fit over the front brakes.

I have a 94 Civic Si without ABS and VX wheels fit perfect on the front of mine. Barely clears....but it does fit the same as a VX

 

cool it looks like I will just have to try them. I belived the rims that the tires are on are a CRX rim but I am not quite sure.

Well I know this,
I have a 94-CX, and the front discs are the same as the 92-95 SI, so yes b/c I run 13" Powder coated wheels for the fun of it sometimes.
They are aftermarket aluminum wheels and are 7" wide though.

It'll fit just so aslong as you don't have ABS. I have a 95 Si and had to roll on some 13" stockies for awhile and it cleared. My cousin has a 94 EX and tried to do the same but would not work due to the ABS.

13s will fit. They come stock from Honda with 13s (not the Si, but the other 9" brake cars). The non-ABS has the same small breaks as all the other non 10" brake cars.

What the **** do 14s, 88 accords, or 90 integras have to do with anything?

I had a 92-95 SI and I ran 13" stockies for a little while. Now how can you say they don't fit? You should not pass on information that you don't even know if it's true or not. Do research before posting.
