hey,

i want to make my stock corners amber. i know i need the spray paint etc.. but how do i get the plastic front piece off the base of the light? so i can spray it from the inside? thanks.. i searched but couldnt really find anything...but 10$ says someone finds it.. thanks

IMO it's just easier to buy some ambers on ebay i got mine for close to 30 shipped

yeah, or just dye em. I would waste the time spraying them

 

just spray the outsides. thats what i did to mine and they looked fine

 

bake them in the oven 250 for 10 min.. keep ur word and send me the ten bucks

 

find those clear corners from back in the day & re-use them with some red-ish/orangey bulbs.

Buy some krylon stained glass and then go to the hobby shop and buy model car window tint.

explain to me how making usdm clear corners look like SIR's is real jdm?

i went to pep boys also and got some fake *** ones. who the **** cares if its real jdm or not. if the car isnt' right hand drive from japan, its not jdm.

i used tamiya orange from the hobby store along some tamiya clear coat for plastic. it was great in the summer, but they crack during the winter time when it gets too cold. it would be cheaper in the long run to just buy some fake amber (than keep painting them), but they're a bitch to find if you dont buy them online.

 

Painting **** is rice...

But spend at least 15 bucks more and get the Pep boys ones... Geeeezzz..
