Just ask for a VIN. Perhaps it's legit - who knows?

 

I asked him for a VIN but he said that he got it from a wrecking yard. I don't have an Integra with the stock front but I am pretty sure that the VIN is on the bumper cover.

 

Not sure if the bumper cover has a vin, but the fenders and hood do and they are strangely missing..

there is a vin on the bumper..

as for if its illegal, its either the vin sticker, or the other honda stickers that you arent suppose to remove when you paint a hood/bumper/fender etc..

Maybe he reads honda-tech too? Guess he didn't think to write it down or something?... [shrug]

You'd think if the car was totalled, you'd have significant damage to warrant a write off by the insurance company... If the rear bumper was left untouched, the F350 must have been lifted about 1.5-2 feet from ground to bumper... even if the ITR was slammed to the ground (but seeing as there are only minor scratches to the front bumper.... O_o;; hmmm.. ) Even then though, how much damage could have been done if only the rear hatch was hit? Enough to write off the car? O_o;; HMMM.... Seeing as there is maybe a foot between the bumper and the front of the tires on the F350, it couldn't have been that much of an impact IF the tires of the F350 didn't hit the rear bumper of the ITR...

I dunno... smells fishy... I guess they'll try anything these days...

I suppose this post will be added to his eBay auction shortly, as he is probably reading it right now... Maybe the F350 had a bush guard and a huge towing wench mounted on the front...

He says he has already stripped them off and thrown them away...

 

I emailed him asking him if the car got rear endended and totalled, why is the rear bumper sitting right behind the front end in the pic.

he saids...."it was hit by a lifted F350 Pick Up, and the integra was lowered, the rear bumper buckled and the paint cracked, but i put it out in the sun and given that its Urethan it retook its shape, and its on my car now. if you have any oter questions feel free to ask, thanks"

I also emailed him that if he could not prove that its legit that authorities will be contacted. Not sure about this whole thing but I hate this. It pisses me off like crazy!
