what were your initial impressions after installing/tuning these cams in your setup? "f**kin awesome",...."wasnt as much as i expected"... anything. power gains, power curve, whatever. just trying to get info on whether or not i should ditch my stage 1's..

 

Skunk2 stage 2's on my ITR, my reaction was ''damn my car pulls soo...hard now!!'' Tuner even said that he liked the cams for the numbers they pulled for what mods I have and with stock compression, cause has tuned alot of JUN Type 3's

 

well the skunk2 stage 2s in my friends itr untuned pulled really hard compared to stock ... i cant wait till there tuned (sometime this weekend) to see how they feel ...

 

Skunk2 Stage 2's pulled nicely in my stock block ITR, a substantial improvement over the stock cams. With more compression they will really kick a$$.

Skunk 2 stage 2s in my frineds LS/VTEC Del Sol are amazing. The VTEC engagement is just violant. It pulls so hard in and out of VTEC. I was very impressed

Manual makes threads that ask stupid questions such as what makes more power skunk cams or jun cams. He is not a new user he has over 800 posts!! and in every thread he only says a few words just to get his post count up. Moderators you should ban him!!!!!!!!! anyone second my opinion?

ummm.. what does a high post count do anyway?? give your money or something? who cares.. as long as u get the info u want thats what matters

 

Having a high post count doesnt do anything but dont some of you people think that his comments are anoyying?

Why ban him? He does nothing wrong. Instead of banning him, why not try to help him better understand things.

That's what I thought the all motor forum was about, helping others to better understand the subject matter at hand. We all learn together here. There are a lot of extremely intelligent and experienced people in this forum. Let's make the best of that.

 

my knowledge on cars is very limited (actually very, very limited)so turn to forums like this for advice.

i had 2001 itr cams put in my b16 recently and had it tuned. vtec is at 4600 and the vtec kick has gone. very smooth right through. dyno showed peak power at 8000rpm. would skunk 2 give definate noticeable difference over these. would i loose low end power ?

I love my Skunk2 stage2's they pull alot harder then my CTR's did thoughout the entire rpm range and above 6k they are fantasic! When my cams crossover onto the vtec lobes it sound like a completely differant car( I love that sound)

 

i hope i will get the same reaction after trying these cams out
