skunk2 shift **** or ebay type r knockoff? i know the skunk2 is weighted but i dunno if i want to hand out 50 bux for a shiftknob when the ebay type r's are goin for about 20 shipped. unless havin the weighted shift **** is a whole lot better than the type r wannabes?
Do you have a short shifter? The weight of the skunk2 gives it a more postitive feel when you shift. The **** benefits more if you have the short shifter to go with it. Definitely worth the $.
very satisfied with the skunk2 short shifter and ****
Only bad thing about the **** and any other titanium, aluminum, steel whatever **** --is the during those freezin nights and scorchin summer days.

the cheaper ***** aren't weighted, most anyway. Also the finish is sub-par.
I've had my Skunk2 shifter and **** for 3+ years and I wouldn't trade for anything on the market.

I've never seen one of the Itr knock off's in person, but My roomate had the skunk, it has a real nice finish to it, it feels real nice in your palm. He sold it for $35, but i would say its worth getting.
I had an ebay knock off on my last teg and i liked it, it felt good and theyre dirt cheap. i got a skunk2 now on stcok ITR shifter and i love it, i couldnt believe the weight of it and believe me the added weight does make a difference when shifting, i never thought a **** along could make any difference. shifting at speed feels so much more positive with it. When i screwed it on tight the numbers on top were upside down, i didnt want to use the adjusting nut as it left the shift **** sitting to high, so i got a hack saw and cut the top thread of the shifter and screwed it on again, the numbers were again slightly off, so i filed it down approx 1/4mm and tried again, and its perfect now, its on as tight as it will go and the numbers are facing 100%. very pleased with it and well worth the $50 price!!!
