...ummm...have you been living under a rock? I swear we've covered this item twice...at least...

But yeah, it looks good. The DVD is supposed to come out March 5th. They showed this at the International Motorcycle Show that's been touring the nation (although I don't know if it's been up north).

Good link, it's cool to see the trailer for a movie that doesn't involve jumping your rocket in the forest.

....oh, and let me get this straight....500cc is the larget MotoGP class??? and i am assuming that they are all 2 strokes, correct?

Wha...?! You're kidding, right spankjelly? Sorry, I can't see sarcasm when it's in my face and I think it's sarcasm sometimes when it's not...

Anyways, MotoGP has ok'd 990cc for the 4strokes. I think 2strokes up to 500cc are still allowed, but they can't compete with the new 4strokes... Faster focuses on the 500cc class just before the change to 4strokes (i think it was around '01?).

It has been covered twice before, but good lord is it nice to see a real motorcycle movie, instead of a movie about guys who get tunnel vision when they drag race, or 20 bikes that roll in and all progressively put their kickstand down, or a guy doing a stoppie in grass and kicking a tree to stop himself, or guys riding on top of a train.

Haha....good stuff. From what it seems like, Rossi is a little cocky (not that he doesn't have any reason to be). I'm assuming they air all the MotoGP events on Speed? My support goes out to the RedRiders, I always like to go for the underdogs!

Yeah, Speedvision usually airs all the races - 125GP, 250GP, MotoGP, AMA Superbike/Supersport, and WSB.

Honda is not the underdog here, although they face stiff competition from Ducati. Rossi/Yamaha is a wildcard, because we know how talented Vale is, but who knows what could happen.

Kawasaki? They're doing ok. I think the underdogs are the Proton KR, Aprilia, and Suzuki teams.

Hmmm...seems like this should've been posted on the other discussion - my bad.

This year they might come back to what they were, but look for Rossi to dominate again on the Yamaha. I'm going to be watching Nicky Hayden on the Honda. He'll be a little more comfortable this year.

I've seen this link around a few places. Did anyone notice Ewan McGregor is the narrator? He's supposively a pretty avid rider. I've seen him talk about it on a few talk shows and such. Looks like a winner flick!!

i have seen the movie and its fawking awesome! i left the room in awe and wanting more. its real long and in depth also. well worth the high ticket price($15). just wait til march when it comes out on DVD. youll see what im talkin aboot.
BTW. Rossi is the **** and WILL take the championship on his yamaha. believe that.
if hes within record lap time on his first outting on a totally different machine. What is he capable of after all the 'bugs' are worked out? if anything, the guy is humble, in a wierd italian way. he has always been the way he is. now Max B, hes the cocky fawk.

Dude?! Humble, if the guy loses he blames it all on the bike or team, every time, and then he freaking flips biaggi off in that race! I personally cant take people like that. thats just my opinon, I really hope that the 1000RR owns hard this year, my dad is getting one so that will be just that much cooler!!

do you even know about motogp? the reason why rossi flipped biaggi off in that race was cos biaggi elbowed himm off the track on the previous lap. wouldnt you do the same? it was rossi's first 500cc race also. max wanted him to scrub.whatever you say man....rossi is the ****! nuff said. just watch the Faster movie and see for yourself.

Yeah, compared to the Emperor, Vale is definitely humble. But when you look in his eyes, you see two things: 1) Confidence and 2) Fun. He's got the skills to back up his riding and he's having a complete blast with MotoGP! Everyone else is too dead-serious.

I don't agree that Vale will win this year, but he's definitely a contender.

remeber the part in the movie when they compared Vale's and Max's heartrates during some hot laps? that was an eyeopener. Vales rate stayed the same while Max's spiked!.
i'm willing to bet you a 6 pack that Vale will take it! im just a fackinrossinfumifreak!

OK this does it! I'm gonna go look for an Aprilia RS125 ... no matter what horror stories I've heard about it being hard to maintain and all that.

Closest I'll come to a GP bike ...

Sssshhhhh!! Don't ruin it for those who haven't seen it. That was THE MOST eye-opening thing I saw during the whole movie, for me.
