hey guys i just got my car today (94 civic) and if i put the passenger window all the way down it comes up very slow n stops bout half way and i have to help it the rest of the way...but if i just put it down a lil ways it will go back up...whats wrong? new motors or what? thanks

 

its probabally off track or about to come off track just check to make sure happens to my 98 coupe all the time.

 

Use that silicone spray we told you about in the sunroof thread and lube the tracks up. My window used to do this all the time and it would fall off the track pretty easily. Lubed the tracks up and it works like new.

 

hey i never thought of that and i cant find the sunroof thread you are talkin about was there any special kind of silicone spray you used cuz its annoying the hell out of me and never thought of bein able to fix it

hey i bought some silcone lubricant at autozone..i believe it was STP (brand) and it worked pretty good...the windows dont go up perfectly like i wished for..but MUCH better with hardly any drag...compared to when i got the car...im still workin on that stupid sunroof though...
