Default HEAD DECISIONS!!!!!

I am buying a GSR head from a friend. Right now it has upgraded injectors, itr cams and valvtrain, but it is ported for a turbo. I plan on going N/A. Would it be a better idea to get my b16a2 head ported custom for my set up and just swap all the internals of the head and cams , valvetrain etc, or should I just keep the gsr head the way it is? Does it matter if the head is over-ported? (is that even a word? lol) I am just trying to get the most out of this swap for the cheapes i can. I am buying the head with upgrades for $700 and b16a heads go for pretty much - about 800-1000 on ebay with my low mileage.
Cliff Notes.. will a gsr motor that is ported for turbo out-perform a b16a head ported for n/a with the same internals??

You should first find out where the GSR head was ported from and take it from there. You can find out has the head been milled and if the head will work fine on a NA motor. Good luck on you head

You should probably take it to a shop and have a porter/engine builder check it out for you.Every porter likes to do things differently so w/o looking at the work it's hard to tell you what to do with it.As long as the work was done by a reputable shop then most likely it's a good deal.
