Default what do you guys do to increasespower of you F20? w/o FI...

ive noticed quite a few exhaust systems and intakes not meeting the gains of e tock peices. this car seems almost too efficient from the factory.. has anyone invested in ay cams, header, etc of any sort and gotten some good power? speaking all motor wise..

Besides the regular bolt-ons and the installation of a better driver...perhaps + displacement?

amuse and type one exhausts are been proven to give at least 5whp gains

toda and amuse headers give great gains too

if you want a big power boost, F/I is the way to go.

TODA makes some good cams for the F20C and a 2.2L Stroker Kit with 12.5:1 pistons. Mugen and TODA headers are good, Amuse and Mugen exhausts, throttle bodies don't do much on this car unless it's FI, but King Motorsports will bore out your stock one. Also Individual Throttle Bodies are availavble. I think that's what you are going to be able to find.

if u can afford it..go all out..and purchase a set of toda spec c's w/ rest of toda valvetrain & cam gears...hayward ITB setup....bottom end rebuilt and sleeved w/ some high compression pistons 12:1 & rods, hytech custom header & exhaust, AEM EMS...and some dyno tunning and u should c some damn nice gains...this will cost a hella amount of doe...so....might as well go supercharger or turbo....but i would def luv to see this kinda of n/a setup on a s2k

u might as well remove cruise control and A/C and kill it... for all out power...then after u do all that...lighten the car up...like remove the soft top in place of the mugen CF hardtop..get a nice roll cage.. and then u will be race ready

4.77 Gearing, doesnt produce power but your car will be MUCH quicker.

I must note they say you should not run pump gas on the Toda kit mentioned above.

toda spec C cams require Toda pistons, otherwise you are looking at bent valves Besides, toda pistons come with 13.0:1 c/r, 13.0:1 on pump gas??
All out N/A requires a lot more stuff ( decked block, everything balanced, ported head...)
I would go for spec A with 295 -13; 290 -12. Then, maybe HKS
f-con pro, it is amazing how properly mapped ECU does the work ITBs will probably just be a waste of money there. Besides, ITBs tend to go outa sync, and ITB syncs can be a real pain
FI on a honda, . I wouldn't expect an F20C to pack a lota torque.

I just got these installed on my S with the Comptech Reinforced Diff. Housing, and it made the car much quicker. I was quite surprised. It's a very good investment.

Are you referring to an ITB or simply a spoon, etc throttle body? I don't think there's been an "official" dyno of an ITB setup yet has there? Topfuel broke his down before dynoing because of a ticket I think.
