Why do you need to go faster than 122?? There is nowhere in the world that you need to go faster than 120 mph. How about you slow down and not kill someone with your stupid antics. And I doubt there is anywhere you get up to 120 in a straightaway on a track either (that you would be going).

There's no way you're trapping 120mph in the quarter with a greddy turbo kit in an EX coupe. I know this, because I have an EX coupe w/ greddy turbo kit. Even at 15 psi, you MIGHT hit a 13.5 on street tires, and a low 13 on slicks. And even that's pushing it.

Post pics of your car, setup, dyno sheets, timeslips, videos and pics of the track you race at - then we'll believe you, and show you how to remove it. Till then, go back to ClubSi, stunnA.

Sohc with greddy kit is NOT hitting 120+mph trap speeds. Get real kid.

To add some tech to this, I lost my damn slip and can't remember what my trap speed was to save my life. I ran a 13.8 on 10psi with a 2.1 60' foot time. Somebody shoot some insight as to what your guys trapped with your SOHC turbos!

I'd guess 99-103. I trapped a ~100 on a 13.8 with a 2.1ish 60' .

Congradulations. you just killed 3 people.

btw: i doubt a seatbelt would do you any good in a wreck at 100+ mph

I don't know what a SOHC turbo would hit at the end of the 1320' but I do know that my friend from Intec Racing ( http://www.intecracing.com) hits 137 mph at the end of the 1/4 mile with a 10.4 sec run. And that is with a DOHC b18c1 Turbo @ over 20psi boost. 98ctr.

dude, noob calm it down a little, no need to get defensive, I highly doubt your single cam, even on a new 6th generation greddy kit can hit 120 "rather quickly".

Everyone is assuming when he says track, that its a drag race. Anyone ever think it could be a road course?? Was never specific that it was a drag strip.

A chipped ECU will remove it...think you can find em on ebay for about $130

If he has a car that can hit 120 on the track(roadcourse), then he wouldn't be posting about his rev-limiter. He'd have the knowledge to search or know people from the track that could help.

FIELD's vtec controller can deactivate the speed govenor. i admit going over 100 is dumb, but i hit 100 on the highway on a straight, but only to pass other ppl up. fastest i ever went was about 120 on an empty highway, so only dead person would have been me. oh yea, and it took FOREVER to get to 120 in my single cam
