Default Bride seats in an R

I finally installed a set of Bride seats today in my R. It's been three long months since I first ordered them, but the wait has finally paid off. Fedex delivered my seats at 2:00 PM at which time I promptly blew off work and went home to retrieve them. Upon arriving back at work with my seats in the back I decided to blow off work some more and install them.

I got the Pros model in red. I didn't want the JDM Recaro's as I think they're too common amongst the Integra crowd. Not a lot of people put Bride's in Integra's so I figured "what the hell." They're very bright, more so than the JDM Recaro's, but somehow they perfectly match the stitching in my JDM shift boot. It feels a bit awkward having them as I've never had quite so much bling in a car before, but it's functional bling so all is well. I'm seriously thinking that some four point harnesses and a harness bar are going to be my next order of business with this car.

Here are some pics.

First off, here is one of the boxes they came in.

And here is the box opened with the seat covered in plastic.

Here's the seat, still in plastic, sitting on a picnic table.

And the seat on the table without the plastic.

Here's a pic of the seats after installation as seen through the passenger door.

And through the back.

Through the driver door with a great shot of my Nardi steering wheel.

Through the front windshield with all the door open.

Again through the front, but at an angle with the doors closed.

And lastly, through the driver's side window.

Tell me what you think everyone.

Edit - Nevermind. No need for a rollbar (as much) since I don't see any harnesses.

Personally, I couldn't/wouldn't (color, design and leather ... gah) but if you're happy, more power to ya.

It's really kind of a mixture between a bold red, and hot pink.

And yes a bar and harnesses are planned for the near future.

Actually it cost a whole bunch of really ugly pennies. I don't think I've gone out and done anything fun for some months now.

Dude your Brides are looking ******* awesome in the R! The idea of getting Brides instead of JDM Recaros deserves up for something different...

Check out Takata's green race harness' to give it that final JDM touch to your interior..

Cool seats. I like it that they are leather, it reminds me of GT3 seats. Why would you want a four point harness though (as opposed to 5 point)?

They're very comfortable to me. Don't get any if you have broad shoulders or anything more than about a 36 inch waist. The Pros model was designed more for larger people and in Japan, I would qualify as a larger person despite me being rather puny.

I don't know, I have all the JDM dash pieces (except the radio cover), the e-brake cover with the JDM ITR badge, and a Nardi steering wheel. Yours just looks like more bling because of the red floor mats.

I think they use bull skin for those seats, the leftovers from making the drinks..

You right!
My only bling is replacing missing JDM oem parts.
including power window's carbon switch covers and JDM GM 16's.
I just picked up the Real Blk JDM floormats but don't have chance to try it because
the R is store away for Winter.
I can't live without my center armrest!

I love the wheels. I've also got the JDM door panels without the holes for the tweeters, but I thought the carbon switches was a little much so I didn't get them. I'm in the process of tracking down a radio block off panel, if you know anyone with one for sale, let me know.
