how can u tell if a integra JDM gsr engine is actually JDM?

 

the stamp on the block....I know its different, but I dont know what it will say.

 

yea i heard that the stamp says b18c, instead of b18c1, an that the jdm valve cover has a honda H sign...but i didnt know if all this was tru. i also wanted to see if there were any other ways u would know if it was fake or not, thanks tho

tis true about the b18c, the us version was the one to have the 1 or 5 after it. That is really the easiest way to tell.

 

oh ok, thanks, is there anyway someone can replicate that on a non jdm engine?

 

Replicate as in counterfit? Like a B18C that's really a B18C1? Well, you could grind off the stamping (or is it an engraving?) that says B18C1 and then restamp it to say B18C... but I really doubt anyone would do that.
