i heard the pager alarms are the best for car alarms! plan on gettin more then alarm though there are some carzy people in this world !

The range on most pager alarms sucks, and they're not worth the extra money IMO. What would you do if you caught a thief breaking into your car anyways? Confront them? It's not worth risking your safety, it's only a car.
As long as you stick with a reputable company (e.g. DEI, Clifford, Etc..) you should be fine. The install is 10x more important than the alarm itself.
