what kind of offsets can i fit in my s2? my car is lowered on kgmm race springs with koni yellows.


i was wondering what sort of offsets can i get or actually rims that wouldnt rub. my drop is about a finger gap all around from the tire to the fender, around 1.5in -2in.

 

Stock is +55F, +65 rear; in general you want as high as you can get. Some people have tucked 18x10's in the back by running as high as +75 offsets. You'll probably have to go with expensive high end/custom wheels to achieve that.

 

i was wondering about other types of wheels. i was leaning towards mf10 but it looks like i wont be able to run them. i think the only rim that would probably fit are ce28.

 

There's no simple answer to your question; it varies by wheel. If you wanted a list of wheels that will fit, I'm afraid I'm not willing to take the time to do the research for you. As I said, a general rule for this particular car, esp. with that kind of drop is higher is better. Probably anything with much less than stock offsets is going to cause you problems with a 2in. drop. If you throw out the specs on various wheels you're interested in you might have a better response.

 

I'm selling my Ce28's, let me know if you're interested. 17x7.5 in the front +50mm offset wrapped in es100's 225/45/17. The rear is 17x9 +63mm offset wrapped in es100s. The tires are practically brand new. I'm getting rid of them because i have My advans already. I'll let them go for $2000.
