Default Finally got my bike fixed...before/after pics

Well, i had a post a while back when my friend laid my bike down. AFter 3months its finally back to normal.

Before:

ANd here are the after:

Got all the parts on ebay.

New front fairing: $275shipped
Mint side fairing(ghetto hole cut for frame slider)- $75shipped
New rear tail: $175shipped
Mint subframe: $90shipped
New Stator cover: $60shipped
Total: $675

I need a frame slider puck($30) and a left mirror($30) now and i'm done. Overall i think i got all the parts pretty cheap. You just gotta search around on ebay for weeks and you will find some killer deals

Mmm, your bike is very nice...and I can't figure out why seeing that it looks like every other red F4i Is there something different from your bike that others? Maybe that red stripe on the rear tire?

Yea, $600 is a lot but man, my friend is lucky i waited so long to find it cheap. A new front fairing alone is $450-500 usually...took the longest to find it for $275. As for the hole, i didnt want to paint it so im gonna get a rubber grommet to go around it so it wont look as bad. I also got the stator cover($60shipped), which i havent put on yet. And so far, the friend that dropped it owes me $450. He's *supposedly* gonna give me $150 this weekend.

And, maybe my bike looks different cause of the bronze front wheel too? I was gonna paint both wheels bronze but decided not to. Still gotta take that front wheel off now and repaint it black. Subframe is also polished, other than that..just like every other f4i

As for the bike, i think i'm gonna sell it sometime this spring and get me a 954 or 929.

thanks for looking

to the so called friend who dropped and then decided he shouldnt have to pay for your bike. Thats why KRIS wont be riding my or kennys bike. J/K when I get my bike KRIS can ride it but only if he is in shorts and a t-shirt!

the thing is, the parts were already repaired. I bought the bike not knowing it was laid down previously. I made a post a while back. I didnt want parts that have been repaired twice already. Plus, i'm not paying for the parts. Friend better pay my *** back soon...its getting really old always having to call him and remind him that i need the cash. I just want to get this over with. It was a good lesson learned......Dont let NOBODY ride your bike!

Maybe I'm not understanding correctly... why not put on frame sliders since there's a hole already drilled? They would have saved you/your friend half of the damage... and I don't understand why you still refer to the guy as your friend. Any of my friends ***** up my stuff, they sell their houses, wives, dogs... whatever to pay it back pronto. Flexibility is your call, not his

just to let you know, i had frame sliders when he low sided. Maybe you didnt read carefully the old post. It said frame slider just broke off. I think u even replied that frame sliders usually break off after a 25+mph fall. Oh and, about the frame slider. I'm getting a cage so dont need another puck. I thought u meant fill it as in with plastic repair. I misunderstood u, sorry.

Anyways, i understand completely how u say a friend would pay back pronto sacrificing whatever he has. I agree totally. I know if i dropped someone elses bike i would make it a priority to pay him back even if it wasnt a friend. I guess theres always gotta be that small percentage of people that dont get their priorities straight.

If your freind pays you back its straight, im sure youre still freinds.

Get this, 2 of my freinds live in the same house and one of them had a 96 CBR. One night they threw a party and while the owner of the bike was gone, the roomate gets on the bike drunk as hell and crashes it up the street into a light pole. the bike was DESTROYED and he was mest up too... big dumb jock was still drinking bleeding everywhere. Hahahah, he looked so f'd up but it was funny. Anyway my point is they are still great freinds and the freind payed him back 100% of the money in a month. No need to lose your boy if your tight.
