ok, about 2 weeks ago me and a buddy installed a new clutch kit in my hatch. and i decided to get a oem clutch cable from honda as well. so i did. it worked great for about 2 weeks and here i am with a problem.

It starts up fine, drives fine when its cold. then when it starts to warm up, i have the same pressure on the clutch as i did when the car was cold. there is just a clicking noise and feel about 1/3 way through the pedal. It only happens when the car is warmed up. as in after about 5 miles or so it starts to make this clicking feel and noise. i tryed to loosen the cable, also tighten, no luck! looked under the dash where i connected the cable to the pedal. everything looks to be okay.

i was thinking it might be where the cable goes into the firewall it has that rubber backing on the cable, possibly could be snapping in and out of place after i drive it for a while?

becasue first 5 miles or so it works great, then it starts to click. but sometimes it will stop for a lil bit, and start back up again! its crazy and i need some advise on how to get this damn thing figured out. any help would be great.

p.s. i think it did this when i had the old cable in there too, probably not good

First thing that comes to mind is the throwout bearing, but it potentially could be more.

 

i replaced the throwout bearing though. its the actualy pedal assembly that is making the noise. and feel. like its loose
