Does anyone know Van Truong, "HAccord96?" I bought an intercooler from him, and it came with a huge dent, that was not pictured in his thread. When it came, I emailed him, and we agreed that he would refund me my money, and I would ship the IC back to him at my expense. Well, it's been over a week since he last responded to one of my emails, and needless to say he never refunded me my money. He's from Norman, OK, anyone know this guy and can contact him? All I want is my money back. First time I've purchased anything through this website.... and it hasn't been a good experience.

Yea, i don't see that huge dent at the bottom either. Bent fins are common with used fmics though. Hope everything works out for you.

no biggie. my DRAG FMIC came like that too. as long as it doesnt leak, its ok. check if it leaks and if it does, then get ur money back. or u can ask for some of it back, but just dont get too happy. plus the bumper will probably cover that up unless u got some ugly holey front bumper. good luck

he sent it back to the guy already
now he has no intercooler and no cash

 

I haven't shipped the intercooler back. I wasn't going to do it until i got the money, good thing. The way I am mounting the Intercooler, the damage would show, and even if it didn't, I didn't pay for a damaged intercooler.

ask him 4 some money back, if it desnt leak. guy with the downpipe, do the same. i think those pics were when he had just got them.

 

I was just asking for a $20 refund which I feel is pretty damn fair. But it's really up to him on the refund part. It's not much about the money, but more of the principle.

are u sure that it wasn't damaged from the mail carrier? Sucks to see this kind of stuff happen. Hopefully things don't get ugly and everyone is able to resolve things. BUMP . . . go get that $$

hmmm interesting indeed..... all i know is if i was going to scam someone, it would be for more than a $30 gauge.

 

sry to say but if you look close in the pic it does come with the dent in it, if you look at the last pic of the intercooler on his thread you can see it, he just put the bad side facing down but then dent was there the whole time, sry to say should have looked a little closer, i hope everything works out for ya

 

I told him that that intercooler wasnt in the best of shape. I sent him many pictures of both sides of the intercooler also, and I also told him that there was a dent on the bottom of it and he said that it was okay at the time. That's why I sold it to him for soo cheap. He sent me a pic of what the intercooler currently looks like, and it didn't look like that when I packaged it. I sent it fedex and I wrapped the intercooler in bubble wrap and some other packaging materials too...I have sold several things on this board, and he is the only person that has felt this way.I offered him 100 partial refund too...but he didn't accept. As for speice, I also sent him about 5 to 10 photos of all the stuff from all different angles. It showed him everything.

 

regardless you said you would refund me my money and never did.
