Default H&R OE Sports or Sports?

Just wanted to get a few opinions and possibly some help selecting a set of springs for my CRX.

I have H&R OE Sports on my 'teg, and would like to stick with H&R springs for my 'rex. What's got me torn, is while I would really like to go with the Sports for their stiffer rates, I'm a little unsure about the advertised 2" drop that comes with them. On the other hand, the OE Sports give a .75" drop, but if they're anything like the ones on my 'teg, they're not going to be stiff enough for me. Does anyone know of some kind of compromise?

I will also be purchasing a set of shocks in the future as well. Thanks much.

I have H&R Sports on my crx and they're very nice and comfy-compared to the STIFF skunk2s that i had on before

I've got the OE Sports on my 90 CRX si with Bilstein HD's and they ride SOOO nice in contrast to the Neuspeed Race I had on. I've quickly become an old man and I don't have a problem having a 3 finger wheel gap. If you have that gripe, go with the sports. You COULD always go with Eibach pro-kit, but a lot of them squeek like mice over slow bumps like speed bumps or even drive ways. Anyhow...I like the OE Sports cuz they still handle great. A little more stiffness isn't worth the lousy ride and scratching everywhere I go. Just my opinion....

Hehehe...do real men have to get camber kits with those? Serious Q. Would I need a kit with the Sports?

I think I may be able to get away around town with the Sports and a nice set of shocks. What are the differences between the Sport and Race?

I have Skunk2 Coilovers too, they are way too stiff..Do you have to worry about scraping a lot with the Sports on your CRX, I have them on my Integra and Id like something that rides higher than it does. On the other hand the OEs I never had to worry about scraping, but it couldve been a little stiffer and appearance wise was too high for me.

i had h&r race springs, dont need camber kit, i have skunkworks coilovers lowered about 2.5 inches dont have a problem scraping i now also have a mugen style bodykit on and no scraping. it takes time to learn how to get off the curbs and things but just be carefull, i cant clear a 16 oz cup laying on the ground but never have problems going over things, also get some shocks, i have tokico iluminas at settign 4 right now i dont bottom out either, car handles great and btw skunk2 coilovers are not taht stiff stop bitching! good luck

I've decided I'd like to try the sports. I went to Tirerack.com and saw the drop was actually a little less than 2" which is nice...What would a set of Illuminas run me?

Max, I see you've got a few sets of Potenzas. What do you think of the 950s? I just got a set and they're pretty good in the dry, could be better in the wet.
