mph gauge not work. wtf?

mph gauge not work. wtf?
i tried everything and it aint working. The cable is in the tranny all the way and its in the gauge all the way. can anyone tell me whats goings on? how do shops charge to fix this? thanks yo.

may have snapped the cable. or the mph guage is broken.
to check the cable remove the guage cluster then start your car then drive down the street if you see the pin inside the plug spinning its working...if not its broken and you need a new one.
the only thing i can think of to fix the mph guage is to see if another cluster works inplace of yours.
anyone else have better suggestions?
