countersteering....
k.. i still dont get the concept.. i countersteer, but how is that different is it from regular? push right go right? my friend, told me to just drop/dip to that side... same thing?
Just drive down a flat street and take your hands off the bars. Then press one
of the bars forward lightly with your finger. This should give you a pretty good
idea of whats going on. Once you start to understand the whole concept of
countersteering, you'll realise that it takes harly any effort at all to fling your
bike around.
You'd probably be even more surprised if i told you that leaning on your bike
has almost zero effect on actually getting your bike to turn. Try leaning with your
hands on the tank instead of on the bars. Your bike wont budge from its straight
line.
