Default ? about the 97s and the 98+

i dont understand y everyone is sayin that the 98+ are better than 97s whats wrong with the 97s b/c i was thinkin about buyin one. What are the problems that 97s have

I never ran into any problems with my 97 Prelude. To me, there isn't a difference between the Preludes 97-01 except for the color changes and the years. I've driven an 01 Prelude and it didn't feel any different than my 97 Prelude. IMO, go ahead and buy one

buy one if you can find a good deal
otherwise, if you're gonna get a 5th gen,
get a 98+up,....larger mains, etc.
but if it was me, i'd look into a 4th gen

in the 98+ h22 motor they upgraded the crank journal size to 55mm , from a performance stand point it might be alittle stronger, and beefer.
