Is this a good deal Let me know
K i talked to a guy at vis and I can get
1) Vis CF USDM sir hood + CF Hatch + Lexan window for hatch shipped from CA to Delaware for $1090. I'm thinking that isnt a bad deal but I wanted to know if anyone saw this stuff for cheaper? He said also if anything is broken like the window when it gets here he will send another to replace it so everything is covered with shipping I know it always is but I wanted to verify before I buy anything.
Now on to other stuff:
I'm about to get a loan for $5000 from bank with my mom cosigning for me to finish my car. I had car payment and I just paid it off and then I wrecked my car. So I figured this would be a good way to build credit which I really need right now...i can't even get a credit car yet! And it would be easy for me to pay it off.
Now I've been trying to think of everything I need so here is a list below tell me if i missed anything. This isnt all I need but stuff I want too. Tell me if I missed anything I already have a b18c which was suppose to go in my civic but now that the civic was totaled its going in to the crx. I have $2500 left over from what the insurance company gave me for my car after I bough crx. So I have $7500 to play with.
Hasport B series swap mount kit for hydralic transmission (mounts, axles, wiring, shiftlinkage) 1100.00 (give or take a few dollars)
Quaife LSD for 94 GSR $850.00
94 GSR Rebuilt and LSD installed $675
cf usdm sir hood + cf hatch + lexan window $1100 (give or take a few dollars)
Tires for GSR blades $200
SI spindles / front brakes $100
Crower Stage 2 Cams, Valve springs Retainers, and SS Valves (assmbled + PNP Job) $1025
Jim fab radius arms ???
Rebuild kit for b18c1 750
2 New seats Recaro Knock offs(mine are ripped up bad) $500
Free paint job (my gfs dad paints cars for a living I'm either painting car viper red or silver I'm thinking silver since my interior is blue.)
Bringing my total to around 6300 (give are take a few dollars) That leaves me with $1200 to play with in case bad stuff happens or I'm missing something during the install.
If you guys have any suggestions or comments let me know. Now I know I got good deals on some of the stuff so I'm happy but something I think I could get cheaper. I'm getting the block rebuilt for free from my boss. And the machine shop guy is doing most of the stuff for real cheap since he is friends with my boss. Well I guess $1200 should be enough of a gap to hold me off. I might hold off on cf hood + trunk and stuff + seats till car is running that way I have more of gap. What do you guys think? The engine ran fine when I got it but had 17XXXX miles on it and thought that it was time for a rebuild. It doesnt even have oil leaking from it. I got car for 2500 and pulled engine and sold the shell for 2000.
Got to love that. So What do you guys think. I'm hoping car will hit low 13s and I'm sure it will be close. If anyone knows where to get parts at cheaper let me know.

anyone can buy a car I like that I built it and I have loved crxs since my brother had one when I was younger. This is sorta memory lane kinda of thing plus its fun to actually build something yourself. Besides youll all be in love all the pictures and Videos I have up when this is done.
