Default power steering pump

i took my car in a week ago because it sounded like my pulley system wasmaking lots of noise. The shop said it was the power steering pump going bad. I replaced the power steering pump(with a used one that was in good shape) and it makes the same noise, however when i turn on my a/c the noise goes away for a while and then comes back after sitting still for a little while, then i move and the noise goes away again. I took it back to the shop a second time and they said it was the belt and they sprayed some **** on it and the noise stopped, so i bought a belt and put it on, the noise is still there. Is it really my power steering pump or is it something else thats going wrong? I am also going to put in a new engine in a couple months, should i install a new one or does the engine swap come with one?

What's the noise sound like?
I'm assuming you're going to buy a H22, it should come with all accessories intact, but you can't always use all of them because of clearance or incompatability issues.
Because the noise goes away with your AC on, it could be the clutch mechanism on the AC compressor that's making the noise when it's disengaged. Could also just be a belt that squeeks under certain load conditions.

Check your grounding straps and where they attach to the valve cover or any attachment brackets that may attach to the engine block.. A power steering pump "flutter" noise can be transferred thru these very straps.. I have seen a few of these on Accords and can be fixed by reattaching the ground strap to another spot on the motor...
