I did a minime swap on a 91civic DX and I got an automatic ECU with the swap do I need a different ecu for my car to run. Thanks. BTW my car is a 5 speed
i dont know if that 100% true, i have a 4speed std and i wanted to put a pm5 in it instead of the shitty pm9 later to find out it was from an auto it flashed the lock up slanoid and would not start
It will run, but it will run like ****. At least, that's the way it is with '92+ Civics . . .
If you need to use the car, the auto ECU is fine, but in the meanwhile look for a manual ECU.

Well, I think it depends WHICH auto ECU you got. It will run on an Integra auto and you will have a check engine light. It will NOT run on a 88~91 Dx/Lx auto ECU.
Why?
The ECU only supports 2 injectors. Your mini-me swap now includes 4 injectors.
