You want the Black Top ZC not brown the black top has more Powwa and cost about the same. You can check hmomotorsonline.com or nippon-motors.com. I believe they have both for about $500.

 

ITS FOR A 1986 CRX WILL IT WORK?

 

If 86 CRX are carbed it wont be a eazy swap. But I believe there is ZC carb engines out there Ive seen a few, last time I saw on online was on ebay. check there.

 

I believe the brown top zc are from the intergras and only make 115 hp while the black makes 130 to 135 hp and are from jdm civics,crx

 

sounds like he has an 86 si, the brown top zc will be a nice drop in. from what i have read the older brown tops were the most powerful (130-135 hp). i got my ZC from soko motors but i dont think they are around anymore and the brown top swaps are getting harder and harder to find. good luck.

very hard to find them now considering they are almost 20 years old...
