Auto or Manuel p28 ecu?

does anyone know how to tell the diffrence between manual and auto p28 ecus?

i remember it was the codes the side but i forgot them? anyone know?

if the second to last number is a 9 then it's an automatic. if it's anything else it's a manual.

ive noticed all manual ecu's that are obd1 end with A01, so that might help.
