Hey how do you adjust your toe-setting?
Hey, I'm thinking of raising my car back up to stock with the stock springs. I put a camber kit on, because my recent drop caused a lot of camber, but I remember after I installed the camber kit, the instructions said to reset the toe-setting back to stock specifications, which I had a shop do when I got an alignment done. I remember it really threw the steering off as I drove to the shop. Well anyways, to get back to the point, I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this toe-setting adjustment, and what is the stock setting? I'd appreciate it if anyone could provide any instructions on doing this. Thanx again.

Get a helm manual, but you can probably figure it out just by looking under the car at the suspension...there are locknuts on the tie rods, loosen the locknuts, and turn the tie rod, you'll see it affects the toe, obviously try to match both wheels.. Stock in the front is 0 +/- 2 mm, rear is 2 +2/-1 mm. For the rear, you move the compensator arm using the adjusting bolt. Both cases, Helm suggests you use a commercially available computerize wheel-alignment tool...there are some alternatives, some autoxers do it by sight.
These locknuts and tie rods are on the bottom right? Not at the place where the strut connects into the frame in that hole up top. Sorry to question, it's just that im not familiar to suspension parts. Thanx again.

yes, on the bottom, in pretty logical places...you just gotta jack up the car and you'll see them, they're the only parts of the suspension that are adjustable. Tie rod attaches away from the center of the wheel hub, compensator arm has a bolt with 5 marks in an oval hole wher eit mounts to frame.
