You guys seen this new CRX model by Fujimi? (Glasstop ZC)
*originally posted back in '04* Check it out...just found this today, never seen it before -

*edit, 8/17/07* more than 3 years after I originally posted this, and long after I sold my CRX (more than a year now), I still wanted this kit, so I just picked it up on eBay

I have the older version of the same kit.
Fujimi makes 5 or 6 slightly different versions of this same basic kit.
All the ones I have are molded in white plastic and need assembly.
Yes it is plastic, but they are pretty detailed and they're really not THAT flimsy.
But what do expect of a $20.00 model kit?

I think its just that it is a EF9 si, not a siR that it has the front end. Do they make a model of the CR-X SiR? I've never seen one.

ALL the Fujimi kits I have are molded in white plastic, they ALL are 88-89 JDM or EDM Si's. You can make them either RHD or LHD. You get both dashboards.
NO Si-R's or EE8 VT's, though.
A couple of the kits I have are glasstops, a couple are not.
I don't think Fujimi made any kits of the '90-'91's or VTEC CRX's.
I do believe though, that the new versions of these kits are molded in black plastic, but don't quote me on that.
They do NOT come with any paints or cement, either.

Lovely 'curbside' kit (no engine) of the Honda CR-X Si 'glass top', in 1/24 scale. Molded with a black injection-plastic body and white chassis and interior; clear parts are included for windows (including the roof glass), lights, etc. Wheels are chrome-plated and hubcaps feature Honda's distinctive 'H' logo; the tires are rubber. Bucket seats are included; and parts are included to build the car with a right- or left-side steering wheel. Decals are included for body markings and license plates (Yokohama).

Thats Awesome! There is a model shop here that had a 1/24 scale model of the crx once, I came back a week later with money and it was gone, and never been fortunate to find another again. The time will come I guess. I was in the store the other day and there was a ef model in there for sale I believe.

If that was an EF model in there (which I kinda doubt), you should go back and ****** it up quickly! As you can tell, these are a real pain in the *** to find, and it would be pretty cool to have something that very few others (here in the states at least) have.
