Default best stock seats?

i NEED an upgrade from those farking EG seats!!! i found a cheap set of 94 GSR seats, but want to know what other people have and what they think. i drive 38miles one way and then some, so I need some comfort but I want somethin that'll keep me in the seat when I push the car.

also, will any integra/del sol seats from 96-00 fit into a 96 civic without changing rails?

People like the Del Sol seats for comfort but I've never sat in them. I would just pickup integra seats

As far as stock seats go. Delsol seats rule, period.

But if you are going more for comfort, the GSR's are a decent upgrade

For keeping you in the seat, del sols. For ride comfort, leather gsrs.

heres a comparo btw some '92 ex sedan seats and my '94 cx hatch seat i just swapped.

the drivers seat is the original crap. The shape and design are the exact same, not sure about the quality of foam yet, probably the same. the fabric doesn't squeak against padding when compressed on the nicer sedan seats.

Mostly just looks better, but the feel and quality of the fabric are a big jump up.

the side bolster material on the cx seats is just crap, permanent wrinkles and no cosmetic appeal.

Probably won't hold me in place any better, but hey, they were free, with only 50 miles on the cars odo.

Sol seats are the best IMO but if you want to be a little different go for some 92-96 prelude seats. There a lot like the del sol seats, but slightly different looking, better fabric, and way more rare too...

so, again, for the prelude seats all that's needed to swap is to remove stock rails and insert new rails? do the bolts match up?

I got a set of +97 spec prelude seats for $50 off ebay. They aren't a dirct bolt in, but that's nothing i couldn't fix. Best 50 bucks i ever spent and they dont have any tears, scratches, or holes!!! They are very comfortable, and are pretty good at hugging you too. They are a lot better than my stock civic seats.

Yeah just like everyone stated before, but to put in my .02 i think that GSR's hold you in just as well as del sols do... And personaly I think the leather GSR's look a hell of a lot better compared to del sols... Well this is just my .02, but if you can find them cheap why not just grab em, anything is going to be better than the stock EG's

and as far as 92-96 prelude seats, i had them, they werent all that tight, and when looking in through the winshield they look like two penises
