EXPO , maintenance, to do list, what to do before you leave
Here's what I'm looking at:
Waiting on vacation request change approved, 02/17
2,900 miles one way, 5,800 mile round trip
Co-Driver has already committed to gas $$ and hotel $$, on the 3rd co-driver
Waiting on a check from work, done and paid
With Check from work:
pay EXPO fees DONE, 02/17
finish oil cooler, maybe
order oil pressure gauge, parts will be here 7/02
order seat done
order harnesses done
order tiresdone
order brakes From Cobalt Friction arrived 02/17
buy stock in Mobil1
- still working on this one
Maintence work that needs to be done before EXPO:
timing belt done
water pump done
coolant flush done
valve adjustment done X2
install baffled oil pan will arrive 07/02
install oil temp guage July 4th weekend install
install oil pressure guage July 4th weekend install
install oil cooler - maybe
tune part throttle maps for better gas mileage - partially done

Mount Valentine1 to rollbar - same as above
Get car aligned - thanks Willard done
Installed MP3/CD head unit in car done
Installed new clutch/pressure plate and tranny fluid last month.
Other than that I'm ready to go

Depends on how many miles I'll have on the turd by the time Expo rolls around.
Hopefully it'll be minor things like adding a baffled oil pan.

Helps to prevent oil starvation in high G turns, like the huge circle that they installed.

They baffle, confuse and distort things so that your engine thinks it's a torquey V8!
It keeps the oil in the pan by using plates extending over the reservoir and around the oil pick up. Reduces the chance for oil starvation during high G turns.

-front and rear camber kit install (waiting on new skunk2 *****)
-put the OE front sway bar back on
-remove power steering system
-replace a bad cam seal
-remove the tranny and replace the release bearing and install clutch kit (if needed).
-dyno tune at P1 (vafc styles)
-valve adjustment
-install a new rear header bracket
-install m00gen shifter bushings
-install m00gen lower front a-arm bushings (2 done, 2 to do)
-check/adjust alignment (now with camber adjustments)
-put the OE front sway bar back on

willard, what happend with your other skunk2 *****? did they wear out?
I just installed the skunk arms recently and so far so good. Im guessing all this salt and crappy cold weather will age them quickly though.
Exb0 is too far away for me to worry about maintenance issues right now. Only thing my car NEEDS is oil and gas.

<u>$ 40.00 = Misc Crap = BEER = $40</u>
